I Heart The Red Hen

I've never eaten the food, I can't comment on the quality of service, in fact, I had never even heard of The Red Hen until the owner put their foot down for their own personal political beliefs, and got a conversation started.

The conversation starts with as simple a question as this; Why does refusal of service only get a positive response, when it moves from, "The Right" to "The Left"?

An elected County Clerk can shirk her responsibilities, to stand for her Religious Freedoms. The response includes rallies, celebrations, appearances by former high ranking government officials, and a book deal.

A Christian couple who run a bakery, out of their home, can falsely tell the media and others, the government shut down their bakery because they refused to offer their services to a gay couple.

The Christian couple will receive offers from Conservative political organizations to travel across the country and tell their inaccuracies to other Americans, and how the "American Dream" is dead, because of what happened to them and their entrepreneurship.

A Christian baker can tell a gay couple, he doesn't feel comfortable baking a cake for their wedding and the case finds its way to the Supreme Court, the end result, paves the way for any and all Christian bakers to take a similar stance in relation to offering services to any occasion they personally believe goes against their religious beliefs.

The reason so many believe the previous examples are all cases of discrimination is because there are zero instances of origin from, "The Left".

We've never seen an openly gay baker refuse service to a heterosexual couple.

We've never heard about a black-owned and operated barber shop tell a white person, they're not welcome.

We never thought we'd see the day where this kind of discrimination would even become a real-world issue, until recently.

The hypocrisy emanating from, "The Right" in regards to discrimination, is fully exposed, out in the open, and there is no logical answer for it.

It is simply a double-standard believed to be true, for far too long.

Constantly and consistently, "The Right", defends the idea of having everything they value protected from those who they believe are trying to dismantle their own personal way of life.

As long as, "The Right" believes they are under any kind of attack, they are filled with tension, even when, they lack any evidence supporting these real-life experiences.

Marriage equality itself started out as "gay marriage" until the language was beaten into submission to become more palatable for those who stood and voted against it.

When marriage equality finally became federally legal, it was met with objections ranging from, "This decision will pave the way for an all out assault against the religious freedom rights of Christians who disagree with this decision.", to "Some of the darkest 24 hours in our Nation's history."

What followed was, in fact, more policies and legislation against the LGBTQIA community, otherwise known as, discrimination. Ranging from Indiana's Religious Freedom Restoration Act debacle during the NCAA Final Four Tournament to widespread Anti-LGBTQ legislation in regards to adoption.

Again, the "attacks" against, "The Right", are non-existent.

Fox News' lengthy "War On Christmas", received its mortal wound from none other the one "professional" Atheist speaking out against the hypocrisy of Christianity and "The Right", Bill Maher, in a video from 2015.

Where there is discrimination present in America, it will almost always be pushed onto a minority and its origins will start inside one of many majorities.

Fear not, my fellow Americans, you're safe from discrimination. Well, most of you are.
